Royal Visit: William and Kate to Open City Hospital - Local - Peterborough Telegraph

Caption: Prince William and Kate will officially declare the hospital open when the Royal couple make their first-ever visit to the city on Wednesday, 28 November.

They will also be greeting patients and staff at the £289 million hospital. Medical experts will be on hand to show the couple, who were married in April last year, some of the key facilities and equipment at the 612-bed hospital, which opened in November 2010.

It will be the couple’s first official visit to Peterborough and the news has been greeted with delight by hospital bosses.
