Kate Using Personal Shopper for Trip to Canada

According to new reports, Catherine has been consulting personal shoppers at her favourite London department stores, who help put her looks together.

Grazia Daily revealed today that the 29-year-old has been using style advisers at Selfridges and Harvey Nichols to help choose a wardrobe for her first trip abroad as a Royal wife.

It claims that Catherine has been consulting the same person used by her husband, Prince William, and his brother, Prince Harry, to do their Christmas shopping.

But her decision to buy her clothes at high-end retailers indicates that she may be stepping away from here favourite High Street labels, such as Reiss, Whistles and LK Bennett, in favour of designer pieces.

While in-store style advisers can offer sound advice when it comes to style and fit, they are not a substitute for a bona fide stylist.

Grazia explained: 'Where a personal shopper will help you to pick out outfits under your direction, a stylist will be more creative and will direct your style.

Prince William’s 29-year-old wife had £900-worth of pure white ‘Scent  1’ fragrances delivered to their cottage, within the grounds of the sprawling £19million royal residence.

As well as the lavender, sandalwood and moss-based waxes and sprays by celeb interior designer Kelly Hoppen, Kate has ordered “minimalist” cushions to spruce up the furnishings. Click link for full post from The Mirror

Celeb Chef Giada 'overwhelmingly excited' to Cook for Royal Couple

When she was offered the chance to cook for a charity polo event, celeb chef Giada De Laurentiis was more than happy to say yes. Little did she know that she’d be cooking for the world’s most famous newlyweds.

“I had no idea the royal couple would be attending,” she said. “And when I finally found out it was actually kind of a bummer.  I couldn’t tell anyone – I had to keep it hush-hush until their California itinerary was released!”

De Laurentiis was finally able to spill the beans this week, and says her girlfriends “freaked out” about the news. “They couldn’t believe I didn’t tell them. Everyone tells you that they would have kept the secret. But they are all extremely ecstatic for me,” she tells TODAY.com in her first interview about the event. Another Day, Another Beautiful Hat for Kate!

The Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles today as she took part in the Garter Day celebrations.

Despite her heavy schedule of late, Catherine remained bright and fresh-faced as she showed off her third hat in as many days.

Waving from a carriage at Windsor Castle, the radiant newlywed wore a Philip Treacy head-piece, matched with a light blue-grey dress and matching coat.

Earlier, the Queen, Prince William and other members of the Royal Family took part in the annual Order of the Garter service.

The Garter Knights wore lavish blue velvet robes and black velvet hats with white plumes in a colourful spectacle that attracted hundreds to the ceremony held at St George's Chapel.

New appointments are announced on St George's Day but the chivalric and installation ceremonies take place every year on the Monday of Royal Ascot week, known as Garter Day. Click link for full post from Daily Mail.

The Practical Princess

Her choice of clothes is already one of the most scrutinised in the world.

But the Duchess of Cambridge is also following a fine Royal tradition: to reuse favourite items as much as possible.

Yesterday at a church service to mark the 90th birthday of the Duke of Edinburgh, Kate wore the same periwinkle blue Jacquard coat dress that she sported to the 2009 wedding of her husband’s close friend, Nicholas van Cutsem.

On her feet were the nude £175 LK Bennett heels that both she and her sister, Pippa, have been seen wearing on several occasions recently – most notably on Derby Day.

By dusting down the old, she echoes the policy of the Queen and the Princess Royal - both of whom take great delight in getting the most out of their wardrobes. Courtesy The Daily Mail. Click link for more on Phillip's Birthday and more pictures

Sister Act! Kate and Pippa Attend Friend's Wedding

Wedding party: Kate chats with guests as they make their way into the church

The man credited with saving Prince William and Kate's romance got a surprise guest at his own wedding today - the Duchess of Cambridge.

Just hours after she proudly watched her husband take part in his first Trooping the Colour, Kate joined guests at the wedding of close friend Sam Waley-Cohen, who married party organiser Bella Balin today.

The jump-jockey was branded the royal matchmaker after apparently helping Kate and Wills rekindle their romance after their brief split in March 2007 - a claim which Mr Waley-Cohen has modestly denied since.

Wills and Kate to Take a London Flat at Kensington Palace

William and Kate are set to move into a new royal ‘starter home’ at Kensington Palace later this month.

The couple have chosen to embark upon married life in a modest apartment in the historic residence where William and Harry lived with their late mother. Until now William and Kate have been living in the Clarence House apartment that the prince shares with his younger brother, Prince Harry, when in London.

The new abode that has been found for William and Kate is currently undergoing refurbishment. It has never been lived in by a senior royal in living memory and was most recently used by members of staff.

As second in line to the throne, William will not be expected to pay rent –  the prince is currently on an RAF salary of £37,170 a year. Courtesy Hello Magazine. Click link for full post:

Even the Queen managed to keep a smile on her face, in spite of the fact her horse lost its race.

Despite being a favourite to win the Derby in today's race tournament, colt Carlton House - the 5-2 favourite - finished third of the 13 runners.
