Prince William and Kate Attend Solo Engagements

While the Duchess was impressing the North East on her first official visit to the region, the Duke said a very personal goodbye to his former nanny, Olga Powell, at her funeral 250 miles away.


The Duke pulled out of the visit to Newcastle, Gateshead and Stockton-on-Tees earlier this week after deciding that he wanted to pay his respects in person at Mrs Powell’s funeral.
