The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend St Andrews 600th Anniversary gala dinner - hellomagazine.com
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge fell in love as young students of St Andrews University.
Now established in their royal role, they will again lend their profile to the historic institution where they met. William and Kate are due to attend an anniversary gala in London on November 8 where they will mingle with some 250 people.
Amongst the guests will be their old Principal, Louise Richardson, who will no doubt be delighted to see them.

Now, the royal corgis are going to have a lasting tribute. Mandrake can disclose that the Queen’s pet dogs will be represented in a huge stained-glass portrait of her that she will unveil in a church on Thursday.

The Duchess of Cambridge has taken up the favourite Royal pastime of riding, disclosing she was learning after finding a passion for horses.
Despite allegedly being allergic to the animals, she told Paralympic medallist Lee Pearson she had now taken up the sport.
Speaking at a Buckingham Palace reception for Olympic and Paralympic athletes, Mr Pearson disclosed he had even offered the Duchess of Cambridge dressage lessons after she confided in him. Marking the release of Celebrate: A year of festivities for Families and Friends with a children's Halloween party at a book shop in Fulham, The Duchess of Cambridge's sister looked to be in her element.
The 29-year-old put the advice in her book to good practice, joining in with games and activities with the children, who all looked to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.
The happy group didn't appear to be put off by the eight camera crews from around the world which were on hand to capture the moment.

Queen Elizabeth Attends Rebuilt Jubilee Gardens in London
The rain couldn't dampen the Queen's spirits, or her wardrobe choices for today's visit to the rebuilt Jubilee Gardens in London.
Her majesty chose a bright purple coat with matching accessories including an on-trend fedora-style felt hat and a purple-trimmed umbrella.
The ceremony to mark the recent transformation of the Jubilee Gardens which was completed 35 years after they were first created in 1977 to celebrate the Queen's silver jubilee.

There was a right royal welcome waiting for Team GB's Olympic heroes at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday night, as the Duchess of Cambridge helped the Queen host a reception to mark their success at the London 2012 Olympics.
Sportsmen and women who had done well in their specialist events were invited along as a mark of thanks. Kate was on elegant form at the bash in a dress by one of her favourite designers Alice Temperley.
The pretty outfit had a sheer black neckline and hem and was embroidered with white flowers.

Chelsea (Prince Harry's Ex) Still Friends with Princess Eugenie
Her love with Prince Harry didn't go the distance. But Chelsy Davy came away from the romance with good memories, and firm friends.

Prince Edward and Sophie Attend Royal Wedding in Luxembourg

One of the biggest days in Luxembourg's not hugely-illustrious history has finally arrived.
Earlier today the wedding of Prince Guillaume, the heir to the throne - the grand duke-to-be - and Belgian Countess Stephanie de Lannoy took place at the Cathedral of our Lady of Luxembourg.
A huge guest list of foreign royal families and dignitaries filled the church to watch the ceremony in the tiny (but very wealthy) country.

The moment when Prince William and the newly-minted Duchess of Cambridge drove down the Mall in his father's vintage Aston Martin was one of the highlights of April's royal wedding.
And there was a chance for the Duke to relive the magic moment this week when he attended a charity dinner in London.
William did a double take when he was shown a novelty cake recreating the scene – complete with the car and the smiling newlyweds inside.

The Queen's bad back sadly stopped her being able to attend Friday's investiture ceremony but thankfully she was still able to carry out a visit to Eton College.
Due to the prolonged amount of standing required at the ceremony, which awarded a CBE to TV chef Mary Berry, it was decided that the Queen should cancel her appearance and rely on son Charles to carry out the duty.

Royal Couple Enjoy Rare Night on the Town

The Royal Couple went to a party at the exclusive London private members club Loulou's in Mayfair with other guests including the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa and the Duke's cousin Princess Eugenie.
They are very rarely seen out together other than at an official event but the pair decided to let their hair down - leaving the club at around midnight.

Prince William and Kate Tour the new "Football" Facilities
Today the royal couple were given a tour of the main facilities before meeting England manager Roy Hodgson and his squad as they train at St George's for the first time ahead of their World Cup qualifier on Friday.
In a speech after being shown round the centre, William said: 'Coming here this morning, seeing these wonderful facilities and beautiful surroundings – just experiencing this extraordinary place - gave me the same feelings I had when I first went to the Olympic Park.
'A mixture of pride that we are capable in this country of creating something so beyond compare anywhere else, and excitement at what this means, not just for our national game, but for sport and opportunity in this country as a whole.
